Roughing Gouge

The Elbo Tool Roughing Gouge is a welded steel cutting tool designed to rough out spindles on the lathe. It's large 1 1/2" size is suitable for rounding the largest wood billets. The tool features a strong 1/2 " shaft, pefect for fitting into one of our tool handles (below).

The Elbo Tool Handle is a 14" long tool holder. It has been designed with a comfortable rubberized hand grip to make it easier to hold and with less vibration. The aluminum ferrule features a 1/2" diameter hole with 2 - 3/16 " set screws to hold your tools. It's light weight feel will make roughing a pleasure.
